OYO STATE GOVERNMENT COMMISERATES WITH FIRE OUTBREAK VICTIMS

The Oyo State government has commiserated with traders that lost their properties in an early morning fire outbreak at the popular Bola Ige International Market, new Gbagi Ibadan.

The Chairman of the market, GANIYU ADEBAYO, while confirming the incident said that the fire outbreak began at about 7:00am, noting that the fire service station at Gbagi market was alerted and responded promptly to put out the inferno but that fire outbreak which razed six (6) shops did not claim any life.

The Oyo State Commissioner, Ministry for Trade, Industry Investment and Cooperatives, Barrister OLASUNKANMI OLALEYE who visited the scene of the incident to commiserate with the affected traders admonished them on the need to always take measures to prevent fire outbreak

The commissioner also called for a meeting with the Market Executives as well as the Ministry’s management to hold on Tuesday.
