MINISTER REITERATES NEED FOR KNOWLEDGE DRIVEN ECONOMY

The Minister of State for Education, GOODLUCK OPIAH, has said that there is need for the education system in Nigeria to prepare youths for a knowledge-driven economy.
The minister stated this during the inauguration of the Council of the Chartered Institute of Treasury Management in Abuja.
OPIAH, while speaking at the event, reiterated the need for the members of the institutes to contribute and work towards a sustainable economy.
OPIAH said that he was confident that the benefits and impacts of the establishment of the Institute will be positive on the society and the Nigerian economy when fully operational.
