COAS COMMENDS ARMY COMMANDERS OVER OPERATIONAL SUCCESSES

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General FAROUK YAHAYA has commended Nigerian Army field commanders and troops for their operational successes in various theatres of operation across the country.
General YAHAYA gave the commendation at the opening of the Third Quarter COAS Conference 2022 held in Abuja.
He noted that kinetic actions in the Northeast theatre of operations had continued to dismantle the organization of insurgents resulting in their massive surrenders.
The surrenders, he also noted, had impacted positively on the morale of troops and strengthened the confidence of citizens, adding that efforts must be geared towards leveraging on the gains so far recorded to stamp out terrorism and banditry permanently.
