17 BOKO HARAM MEMBERS SURRENDER

Seventeen Boko Haram terrorists including their family members have surrendered their weapons to troops of 151 Task Force Battalion deployed at Banki-Junction in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.

This follow renewed military onslaughts by troops of Joint Task Force, North East codenamed Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK).

Authorities of the Force say profiling of the surrendered terrorists is ongoing after which the individuals will be handed over to the appropriate agencies for further handling.

Meanwhile, the Theatre Commander OPHK Major General CG MUSA has charged troops to stand up to their responsibility as defenders of the Nigeria’s Territorial Integrity by neutralizing every terrorist in the North East without mercy.
