Written by on May 2, 2024

Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappé and Bayern Munich striker, Harry Kane are tied for top scorer in the UEFA Champions League this season.

Kane joined Kylian Mbappé and others leading scorers in this season’s UEFA Champions League when he successfully converted from the penalty spot in the first leg of Bayern’s semi-final tie against Real Madrid. Mbappé had the chance to respond but was unable to add to his own tally as Paris lost 1-0 to Borussia Dortmund in the opening instalment of their last-four contest on Wednesday.

Both players currently have eight goals each to their names, following the conclusion of this week’s semi-finals first leg fixtures.

Recall that Bayern Munich played 2-2 against Real Madrid, while Dortmund defeated PSG 1-0.

Here is the list of Champions League top scorers so far:

8 goals – Kylian Mbappe and Harry Kane

6 goals – Antoine Griezmann (Atletico de Madrid), Erling Haaland (Man City)

5 goals – Julian Alvarez (Man City), Phil Foden (Man City), Galeno (Porto), Rasmus Hojlund (Man United), Alvaro Morata (Atletico de Madrid), Rodrygo (Real Madrid) and Vinicius (Real Madrid).
