TENSION AS NANS GROUNDS LAGOS AIRPORT OVER ASUU STRIKE

Written by on September 19, 2022

The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, on Monday stormed Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos to mount pressure on the government to resolve the seven-month industrial strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities.

Recall that the students’ body had earlier threatened to ground activities at the local and international airports across the country beginning Monday.

Chairman, NANS National Task Force on ‘End ASUU Strike Now,’ OJO RAYMOND OLUMIDE, said students were tired of pleading with both parties to end the strike.
