Oyo gov’t begins Rehabilitation of Ring Road, Mobil

The Oyo State Government has begun the rehabilitation of Ring Road, Mobile as part of the Government efforts to eradicate potholes in Ibadan and the state at large.
This was made known on Tuesday by Honourable Busoye Ogunlade, the Executive Chairman of Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency (OYSROMA) during inspection tour of the roads.
Honourable Ogunlade stated that Rehabilitation of State roads across the State has started in earnest, as all measures have been put in place by the State Government under the able leadership of the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde to rid the State of potholes.
He said that gone are the days that Oyo wil be listed among states in Nigeria with poor road network adding that the Agency had been mandated by Engineer Seyi Makinde to leave no stone unturned inorder to ensure zero potholes in Oyo State.
He also commended the engineers and the entire staff of the agency for living up to expectations to ensure the agency fulfils its mandate.
Honourable Ogunlade therefore urged the good people of the State to work in synergy with the state government to put a definite Stop to the menace of burning tyres on the roads and blocking of waterways with refuse as the state government has made necessary provision to ensure sanitised environment.
