The Federal Government says the newly completed Terminal Two of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos has the capacity to process 14 million passengers per annum.

The Minister of Information and Culture, LAI MOHAMMED, disclosed this in Lagos while inspecting the terminal and its facilities and fittings led by the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Captain RABIU YADUDU.

The minister, while addressing newsmen, clarified that the new international terminal was built to complement the terminal one and not to replace it.

He said that the terminal ‘two’ project started in 2013 and was completed by the present administration in 2022 under a bilateral agreement with the People’s Republic of China, adding that over 10,000 direct and indirect job opportunities had been created in the new terminal.
