Japan Donates 231 Classrooms to Oyo State

On Wednesday, January 8, Oyo State Government received a donation of 231 classrooms to 30 selected primary schools in the state courtesy Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The Chairman, Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr. Nureni Adeniran, made this known while receiving the JICA representatives.

He commended them for their unalloyed commitment and provision of facilities, which has contributed to the overhauling and improvement of the state’s Basic Education.

JICA is an agency established by the Japanese government to represent Japan on intervention projects. It coordinates Official Development Assistance, ODA, for the Government of Japan.
