EXCLUSIVE STORY: AMOTEKUN KILLS 21-YEAR OLD MAN IN A SPORADIC SHOOTING

Residents of Inalende area of Ibadan have been thrown into mourning over the death of OLUWATOSIN THOMAS who was allegedly shot by men of operation Amotekun late last night.
According to residents, OLUWATOSIN left the house to buy bread at Mokola, when men of Operation Amotekun arrived in that area and began to shoot sporadically; OLUWATOSIN who was hit by a stray bullet and then fell to the ground bleeding.
The mother of the victim, Mrs. Thomas who spoke to Jamz FM in an exclusive interview noted that she ran to the spot as soon as she received the information and approached the officers on why her son was shot, they also assaulted her and threatened to kill her and OLUWATOSIN’s brother.
The mother also confirmed that she tore the uniform of one of the officers before the vehicle with number 012 drove off, leaving the boy in a pool of blood.
One of the residents Mr. LAIDE said that the OLUWATOSIN was rejected at the University College Hospital where he was taken but died along the way as doctors told them that the boy had lost so much blood.
Meanwhile, the State Commandant of Amotekun has assured residents that the operation has swung into action and investigation has started on the alleged shooting and official found culpable will be brought to book.
