Awoniyi progressing well from injury – Forest boss, Cooper

Super Eagles forward, Taiwo Awoniyi is recovering well from injury, according to Nottingham Forest manager, Steve Cooper.
Awoniyi aggravated a groin injury while on international duty last month.
The striker is not expected to return to action until the New Year after going under the knife.
Cooper revealed that the 26-year-old is progressing well and staying positive.
“Taiwo’s injury is the obvious long-term one,” Cooper was quoted by the Nottingham Post.
“He is going well but he is a long, long way from being back involved in games.
“But his programme is going well. He had a positive appointment this week. He doesn’t enjoy being injured but he is staying positive in his mentality.”
Awoniyi has made 10 league appearances for Forest this season with four goals to his name.
