THE PRESIDENT OF THE NIGERIA FOOTBALL FEDERATION, AMAJU PINNICK HAS REVEALED THAT THE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK HAS HALTED THE FEDERATION’S APPOINTMENT OF A COMPETENT COACH FOR THE SUPER FALCONS.

PINNICK, WHO STATED THIS DURING A TELEVISION INTERVIEW, ASSURED THAT THERE WERE MANY WORLD-CLASS COACHES WHO HAD SHOWN INTEREST IN THE FALCONS JOB.

ACCORDING TO HIM, THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS OUGHT TO HAVE COMMENCED BEFORE NOW BUT THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS POSED BY THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IS BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE FOOTBALL FEDERATION.
