The Management of the Kaduna State-based Desert Herald Newspaper has accused the Federal Government of plotting the arrest and deportation of MAMU from Egypt to Nigeria.
MAMU, a Media Consultant to controversial Cleric, SHEIKH GUMI, was an ex-negotiator for the terrorists who attacked the Abuja-Kaduna bound AK-9 train on March 28, 2022.
He was arrested and detained on Tuesday at Cairo Airport by Interpol while waiting for connecting flight to Saudi Arabia for lesser Hajj.
But in a statement by the newspaper’s Head, Special Projects, IBRAHIM MADA, the management alleged that the Federal Government was behind the arrest of MAMU, in Cairo Egypt, in a bid to intimidate and harass the publisher.
